Pleats Please by Issey Miyake is a floral and fruity fragrance for women. The experimental Japanese designer has created an exciting statement scent that oozes of joy and character. It is an interesting mix of fruity, floral and woody elements.
The top note is nashi, which is a mix of pear and apple giving the fragrance instant freshness. The middle notes are floral with peony, sweet pea and indole and the base consist of patchouli, cedar, absolute vanilla and white musk.
The name Pleats Please is taken from the designers iconic fashion collection which featured colourful creations in pleated materials. The inspiration for the bottle and its triangular structured surface originate from one of the bags from the same collection.
Pleats Please was launched by Issey Miyake in 2012.
